Tray Icon :: Overview

The tray icon in the system tray of the taskbar displays the status of the Guard service.

Icon	Description
	AntiVir Guard is activated.
	AntiVir Guard is deactivated.

Context menu

Central functions of Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic can be quickly accessed via the context menu of the tray icon. To open the context menu, click on the tray icon with the right-hand mouse button.

Entries in the context menu

• Activate AntiVir Guard: enables or disables the AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Guard.

• Start AntiVir: opens the Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Control Center.

• Configure AntiVir: opens the Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Configuration.

• Start update: starts an update.

• Help: opens this online help.

• Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Website: opens the web portal of Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic on the Internet. The condition for this is that you have an active connection to the Internet.
